Subscription, Renewal & Refund Policy — Pivot VPN

This policy explains how Pivot VPN charges for subscriptions, how renewals work, and when refunds may be available. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to this Policy together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Direct subscriptions purchased through get.pivotvpn.net are sold and billed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), acting as the merchant of record. Paddle handles billing, taxes, and invoicing on our behalf.
1. Subscription Pricing
Prices are displayed in the currency presented at checkout. The full billing amount, including any applicable taxes, is shown before you complete your purchase.

Prices exclude applicable taxes, duties, levies, or payment-provider fees unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions bill in the same currency as the initial purchase.
Introductory or promotional pricing applies to the first billing term only. After that, subscriptions renew at the standard renewal price unless cancelled beforehand. Pivot VPN reserves the right to update pricing and plans with notice where required by law.
2. Free Trial and Auto-Renewal
The Pivot VPN subscription begins with a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert into a paid subscription at the disclosed price of USD 11.99 per month.
After the first paid period, your subscription automatically renews for the same billing period (one month) at the then-current price unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period. This applies to monthly and any other recurring plans we may offer.
You will receive a renewal reminder by email before each renewal where required by applicable law or by Paddle's billing rules.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time before the next renewal date. When you cancel:
- your subscription remains active through the period you have already paid for;
- you will not be charged for the next renewal term;
- cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period, except as stated in this Policy or as required by law.
To cancel a direct subscription purchased through get.pivotvpn.net:
- use the cancellation link in your Paddle order email or invoice;
- open the Manage Subscription page and follow the steps shown;
- email service@pivotvpn.net from the address on your account, and we will cancel future renewals on your behalf.
If you purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you must cancel through that store's subscription settings on your device. Pivot VPN cannot cancel app store subscriptions for you.
4. Refund Policy for Direct Purchases
For direct purchases through get.pivotvpn.net, you may request a refund within 14 calendar days of the initial charge, provided you have not materially used the Service in a way that is inconsistent with a refund (for example, intensive abuse-related traffic).
To be eligible, your refund request must:
- be submitted within 14 calendar days of the initial purchase charge;
- come from the email address associated with your Pivot VPN account or your Paddle order, or include proof of purchase
- include your Pivot VPN account email and the Paddle order or transaction reference.
We may try to resolve technical or billing issues first, but this will not reduce your refund rights within the applicable window.
5. Refund Exclusions
Unless required by law, refunds are generally unavailable for:
- renewal charges after the initial subscription term;
- purchases made more than 14 calendar days before the refund request;
- third-party marketplace purchases (Apple App Store, Google Play, resellers) — these are governed by the marketplace's own refund policy;
- custom business, enterprise, gift, partnership, affiliate, or promotional arrangements expressly marked non-refundable;
- repeated refund requests by the same user;
- refund-policy abuse or att; andempts to exploit free trials, promotional offers, or refunds;
- violations of our Terms & Conditions, including fraud, chargeback abuse, or prohibited conduct.
Pivot VPN reserves the right to deny refund requests it deems dishonest, abusive, or inconsistent with the purpose of this Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
6. App Store and Third-Party Purchases
If you purchased Pivot VPN through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another third-party platform, your billing, cancellation, and refund rights are handled by that platform under its own rules, not under this direct-purchase Policy. You must manage your subscription and request refunds through the relevant platform's account settings.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for a direct purchase, email service@pivotvpn.net with:
- the email address linked to your account;
- your Paddle order number, invoice number, or payment reference (found in your Paddle order confirmation email);
- the reason for the refund request.
We may ask for additional information to verify the purchase.
Refunds for direct subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle") on our behalf, as Merchant of Record. Once we approve your request, we instruct Paddle to issue the refund to the original payment method used at checkout. You may also contact Paddle directly using the support link in your Paddle order email.
8. Refund Processing Time
Once approved by Pivot VPN, the refund is submitted to Paddle and is generally processed within 5–10 business days. The time for the refunded amount to appear in your account then depends on your bank or card issuer and may take an additional period of up to 30 days in total from the date of approval. You will receive a refund confirmation email from Paddle when the refund is issued.
9. Failed Payments and Suspension
If a renewal charge fails, Paddle may retry the charge using the saved payment method on our behalf. If payment cannot be completed, we may suspend or terminate access until the billing issue is resolved.
10. Chargebacks
Please contact service@pivotvpn.net before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, so we can try to resolve the issue directly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting support may result in account suspension or termination to prevent fraud. This does not limit any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
11. Consumer Rights
This Policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country or region. Local provisions on cancellation, withdrawal, or refunds apply where required.
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital-content contract within 14 days. By starting your subscription and free trial, you may expressly agree that performance of the Service begins immediately and that you lose your right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed during the trial period, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The voluntary 14-day refund window in Section 4 is provided in addition to any rights you have by law.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
